I started building websites the way most freelancers do — for a friend, then a friend of a friend, then a small ministry that needed something better than a free template. A few years and a lot of WordPress themes later, Pixeljoy is that same practice with a name attached.
Most of my work lands with churches, ministries and independent small businesses — people who need a site that actually represents them, not a demo theme with their logo dropped in. That means real content structure from day one: every field editable, every image swappable, without a call to a developer for a text change.
I design every project in Figma before a line of theme code gets written, and I build almost everything on WordPress with proper ACF fields — no page builders, no bloat, nothing you'll need to rip out in two years.
How I work
Design before code
Every project is a real Figma design first, so you approve the direction before any theme code exists.
No page builders
Clean WordPress themes with real ACF fields — nothing bolted on that slows the site down.
Plain language, not jargon
You'll always know what's happening with your project and why, in words that make sense.
A small roster, on purpose
I take on a handful of projects at a time, so nothing sits in a queue waiting on me.
