The brief
Building near-identical church sites from scratch each time was wasteful. The goal was a proper reusable theme that any church could pick up without being locked into one specific congregation's branding.
The approach
Building the whole thing on free, native ACF-only fields plus the WordPress Customizer, with custom blocks for the layouts churches actually need — so nothing depends on a premium plugin or a page builder.
What the theme includes
- A church-agnostic WordPress theme, brandable through the Customizer alone
- A set of custom blocks covering sermons, events and giving
- Zero dependency on premium plugins or page builders
